What can Neo change in UniFi?+
With write access, Neo can restart, adopt or unadopt devices, power-cycle PoE ports, authorize guests, manage hotspot vouchers, and change networks, WiFi, VPNs and firewall rules. Consoles and sites are read only. Only the Network application is reachable, so Protect cameras are out of scope.
Do changes need technician approval?+
Yes, nearly all of them. Device actions, every network or firewall change, guest authorization and voucher deletion always wait on a technician, whatever the profile. Issuing a guest voucher is the one write that can run on its own.
What credentials does Neo need?+
It depends on your controller. Consoles at unifi.ui.com use a Site Manager API key. A UniFi OS console reached by URL uses a key created in that console. A classic self-hosted Network Server uses a dedicated local admin's username and password.
How are UniFi sites mapped to my PSA companies?+
