NETWORK INTEGRATION

Whole site down, or one device? Neo checks.

Neo reads the client's Domotz collectors and devices from the ticket, power cycles a frozen device through its switch port or PDU outlet, and resolves the alert once the device is back.

01Capabilities

What Neo does with Domotz.

01
DIAGNOSE

Site or single device

Neo reads device status, uptime history, latency, packet loss, speed tests and IP conflicts to see if the whole site is down or one device.

02
POWER

Remote power cycle

Neo powers a frozen access point, camera or phone off and on through its PoE switch port or PDU outlet, so nobody drives to the site.

03
ALERTS

Resolve the alert

Neo reads the alert behind the ticket and the rule that raised it, and resolves it in Domotz once the device is back.

02Workflows

Concrete work Neo handles in Domotz.

DEVICE OFFLINE

Device-offline tickets

Neo checks the other devices on the same collector. If only one device is down, it power cycles it, resolves the alert and adds a note.

RETIRED DEVICE

Stop alerts on old hardware

The client retired a device. Neo stops monitoring it, or binds the right alert rule to the new switch that replaced it.

NEW BRANCH

Routed subnets

A new branch office brings a new subnet. Neo adds it to the collector's routed networks so its devices are found.

TECH ACCESS

Domotz logins

From an onboarding or offboarding ticket, Neo gives a new technician a Domotz login or removes a leaver's.

03Setup

Live in under an hour.

Connect, configure, go. No code, no long implementation.

01

Create an API key

In the Domotz Portal, open Settings, Services, API Keys. Copy the key and the regional API endpoint shown next to it.

02

Save it in Neo

Paste the endpoint and key. Neo lists your collectors before it saves, then maps each collector to a PSA company.

03

Turn it on per agent

Pick Read Only, Helpdesk, IT Admin or Full Automation, or set each area and its approval setting by hand.

FAQ

Questions about the Domotz integration.

What can Neo change in Domotz?+

With write access, Neo can edit and tag devices, add sensors, run power actions, resolve alerts, change monitoring and collector settings, and manage Organizations and users. Neo refuses remote connections to devices, stored device configurations and camera snapshots, and removes SNMP community strings from every response.

Do changes need technician approval?+

You decide per area. Helpdesk asks before every change except resolving an alert. IT Admin asks before monitoring, collector settings and user changes. Deleting a collector or an Organization always waits on a technician.

What credentials does Neo need?+

One Domotz API key and its API endpoint. The key sees every collector your Domotz account can see. Neo stores it in Azure Key Vault.

How are collectors mapped to my PSA companies?+

Neo matches each collector by its Domotz Organization name, then its own name, then with AI. Name matches go straight to your agents. AI matches wait on the Organization Mapping tab for you to confirm. The mapping refreshes on each nightly PSA sync.
