What can Neo change in Datto BCDR?+
Two things, with write access: an agent's bandwidth limit, and SaaS Protection seats. Neo does not start a backup, run a screenshot or clear an alert in Datto.
Do changes need technician approval?+
Pausing or unlicensing a SaaS Protection seat always asks a technician. A bandwidth limit change asks under Helpdesk and IT Admin. Licensing a seat asks under Helpdesk only.
What credentials does Neo need?+
A Datto Partner Portal API key: the Public Key and the Secret Key. Datto allows two API keys per partner organization. Datto BCDR is a separate product from Datto RMM, with its own key.
How are Datto clients mapped to my PSA companies?+
Neo matches by name first, then by a SaaS Protection domain that matches a PSA company's website, then with AI. Name matches go straight to your agents. Domain and AI matches wait on the Organization Mapping tab for you to confirm.
